Hi Anupam, Just a quick hello from a fellow filmmaker in the "Global Issues" category with your film. My ONCE THERE WERE POLAR BEARS screens just after yours on April 24th. This seems appropriate, since they both deal with homelessness and treating living beings with respect. Though your film is about humans, mine about polar bears, the themes are common, and increasingly profound in our shrinking world.
Since I live in arctic Alaska, making a trip down for the festival is a little unrealistic just now, but I wanted to introduce myself and to wish you luck with your film in Sacramento and beyond. Best, Art Smith
P.S. I see that A LITTLE LOST recently screened in Kerala... not too far from Bangalore, where my debut film (also about polar bears) played a couple years back. It was hard to imagine the cold arctic scenes up on a screen in southern India, but evidently, polar bears and oceans are of concern to people all over.
