Hello Angela,
I would like to personally invite you to the premiere of my musical feature film "Charlie's Closet" on July 31st, 2010. It is going to be a HUGE event with live music, food, vendors, the showing of the film, and much more! I would love to see you there. The tickets are free with a recommended $5 donation at the door for those who can, and it will be happening on the beautiful outdoor pavilion at Lakehills Church right above Regal Cinemas in El Dorado Hills. You are coming to the festival right? Our film Second Chance is showing the 24th at the 24th Street Theater...

No, school for me was CSUS then law school. I think that's enough school for me...:) What I am doing is really just following the path that others have done that I've read about, just jump out there and go! I could be completely wrong in this but my approach for our short film was to see to it that I supported my Director in every way needed, but getting sets and locations and props whatever he needed. And because I have done fund raising in the past seeking out money isn't a overly difficult task, in my very limited experiences I find it to be really managing and cultivating relationships, and as our projects grow the budgets will be larger but I think the general premise will be the same.
