OSCAR WINNING DIRECTOR Kieth Merrill!

1st up we met KGO SF Film critic and
"Flick Nation" author Dennis Willis who helped us with our FEARLESS OSCAR PICS! Dennis' astute and hilarious insights into the film industry got CFF members thinking about film as art vs commerce and the 2010 year in film.

THEN: A CFF EXCLUSIVE: VERY SPECIAL GUEST, Oscar winning director, Kieth Merrill. Mr. Merrill won the Best Documentary Academy Award for his film, "The Great American Cowboy". In addition to an amazing career as a director, Mr. Merrill has pioneered the use of the IMAX format, regarded by many as the premier cinema format in the world. Members met Kieth and learned from one of the greats of American Cinema. He even let us touch his Oscar!
